"Eleanor has a true gift for healing. She gets right to the heart of the problem and I always leave her sessions feeling as if there is nothing better I could do for myself. I recommend her to all my friends.”
"Eleanor is a master massage therapist. I've been going to her for over 10 years. I first started when I was searching for some non-drug solution to my chronic migraines. She was able to identify the source and has helped me to stay free of this chronic pain for years. There is something truly wonderful about finding such a skilled, sensitive, and thoughtful massage therapist. I think of her, and she truly is, a health care provider. I can't recommend her enough. Give her a try and you will never want to get massage from anyone else."
"In any situation, I trust she will strive to meet the needs of the client/patient and help them find the resources they can use to improve their own health and health care. I am very pleased to recommend Eleanor." Ellen Barnett, MD
"I've been a client of Eleanor's for many years. She is a gifted, empathetic and insightful massage therapist/healer and a loving, generous person. I recommend her highly, no matter what your therapeutic aims."

Where east meets west massage therapy
Eleanor grew up in Louisiana and graduated from LSU-Shreveport with an interdisciplinary degree in biology and social sciences. Her initial massage training was from National Holistic Institute in Emeryville, CA, with continuing education ever since. Her practice is augmented by completion of a year-long Patient Navigation program at Sonoma State University and maintaining a Certified Senior Advisor designation, a national program dually accredited by both the NCAA and ANSI.
She fulfilled her early goal of being a National Park Service Ranger-Naturalist in Glacier NP, Montana and taught environmental ed to school-age kids in New Hampshire and in CA. She is a CA Certified Master Naturalist and volunteers regularly at a local preserve and county parks. When not working, she plays by hiking anywhere from the coast to the mountains, always grounding in the natural world.
